<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a talented and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and wooden furniture according to specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise measurements.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, and construction methods.</li><li>Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, sanders, drills, and other power tools, to cut, shape, and prepare wood components.</li><li>Assemble and fit cabinet components, such as drawers, doors, and shelves, using joinery techniques like dovetails, dowels, and mortise and tenon.</li><li>Sand, stain, and finish cabinets to achieve the desired look and ensure surfaces are smooth and free of defects.</li><li>Repair and refurbish existing cabinetry and furniture as needed.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>3+ years</strong> of experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.</li><li>Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.</li></ul></div></div>- LocationScarborough Junction
