*About us* *Coast Industrial* is a specialty, industrial contractor supplying technical services, equipment, shop services and field crews. We take pride in providing top quality millwrighting, fabrication, welding and pipe fitting services. Coast Indusrial is hiring for *one (1) Journeyman or Apprentice Millwright *position to support a long-standing customer with preventative and corrective maintenance of their facility and equipment. We are open to ticketed millwrights as well as apprentices looking to gain industry experience. *Experience with conveyors, material handling and automated systems is an asset.* Work is based at YVR Airport. This is a NIGHT SHIFT position. *Weekday Shift* * Monday - Thursday * 7PM - 5AM (10 hours) * Great pay with pension! * The hourly pay is $48 per hour plus shift differential. * 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday with a 7 PM start time. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot mechanical issues. * Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and address maintenance challenges. * Utilize electrical experience to diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS. * Adhere to safety protocols while working in industrial environments. Our Ideal Candidate: * Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright certificate of qualification or Apprentice * Experience repairing industrial equipment * Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Mechanical aptitude and skill * Detail oriented and prioritizes safety * Ability to indepdently and in a group * Position is physically demanding and will require ability to bend and lift * Good verbal and written communication skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $48.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Commuter benefits * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Richmond, BC V7B 0A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person- LocationRichmond, BC
