*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. *Duties* * Review and interpret physician orders for medication therapy, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness. * Prepare and dispense medications, including compounding when necessary. * Provide medication administration guidance to healthcare staff and patients. * Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. * Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medication regimens as necessary. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. * Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and monitor inventory levels. * Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in pharmacotherapy to provide the best patient care. *Qualifications* * Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy * Pharmacist License in good standing in Nova Scotia * Immunization and injection permit * Experience providing expanded scope of pharmacy services * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Commitment to providing exceptional customer service * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team * Experience using PharmaClik Rx is desirable.
