*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with a focus on preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. *Responsibilities* * Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. * Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary. * Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing security measures. * Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises. * Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. * Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in security roles is preferred. * Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance operations is advantageous. * Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is a plus. * Strong observational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations. * Must possess a valid Alberta security guard license * First Aid * H2S * Bear Aware * WHIMIS * Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) * Must possess a valid drivers license * Must have a clean drivers abstract * Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test Join our team as a Security Guard where your vigilance will contribute significantly to the safety and security of our environment!
