Airways Truck Rentals is seeking Automotive Mechanic to join the team. *This position is not flat rate, it is a fixed schedule of 40 hours a week. *The schedule consists of Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. This position does not deal with the general public. We are looking for an an individual with a positive attitude and a great work ethic, who can produce consistent and reliable results. *Employer Pays for the Following:* * Health and Dental Benefits * RRSP Matching * Fuel Relief Program, 200Liters per month * Life Insurance * Costco Membership * And More *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Perform all aspects of automotive diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance. * Complete routine self-generated work and daily work order requests for repairs and service. * Mentor and provide training with technician apprentices as required. * Complete all work in compliance with legislation, regulations and site policies and procedures. * Other duties as they may arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing complete facilities operations and maintenance. *Qualifications:* * Certified Alberta Journeyperson or Red Seal Automotive Service Technician is an asset. * Experience with four-wheel drive is required. * Excellent problem-solving, organization and multi-tasking skills. * Strong ability to work well independently and within a diverse workforce. * Clear written and verbal communication skills.
