Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Order parts and maintain inventory. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Verify and repair emission control systems. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .- LocationCambridge, ON
