*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the food preparation process, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and adheres to our established food safety standards.
*Duties*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including all cooking equipment.
* Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to comply with health regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Pay: $15.45-$18.00 per hour
