We prefer all applicants create an online profile to successfully attach your application to this posting.<p> <p>_________________________________________________________________________________________________ <p>Casual Educational Assistants <p>Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is currently seeking Educational Assistants in Spruce Grove, AB for St. Joseph Catholic School (Pre-K to Grade 4), St. Marguerite Catholic School (K-4) and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School (Grades 5-8) and in Stony Plain, AB for St. John Paul II Catholic School (Pre-K to Grade 8) for school year 2024-2025. <p>Rate of pay $18.90/hour (hourly rate plus 4% vacation pay) as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.<p>Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications: <p><p> Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices<p> Experience working with students with diverse needs<p> Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect<p> Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training<p> Mental Health First Aid or equivalent<p> Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate is an asset<p><p>Required Documents: <p><p> Current Resume<p> Reference Letters<p> Priest Reference Letter<p> Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Check (dated within six months)<p> Intervention Record Check (dated within six months)<p><p><p>All schools in Evergreen Catholic recognize the critical role that teachers serve in the mission of the Catholic Church.
