Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load and unload goods. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed. Tow truck. Tractor-trailer. Transportation/travel experience: Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Bondable. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel for extended periods. Willing to travel overnight. Driver's abstract. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Large workload.
