Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Sheet metal fabrication shop. Metal products manufacturing company. Tasks: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools. Polish metal products to mirror finish. Read and interpret work orders. Equipment and machinery experience: Lifting device. Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player.
