The Commons Pharmacy - Locally owned pharmacy with drive-thru is looking to add more Pharmacy Technicians to join our team! We are looking for people who can work independently, has great customer service and willing to work on weekends and holidays. Experience preferred. DRIVING SKILL REQUIRED. Responsibilities: * Has experience in Kroll software * A certificate or diploma from a training program approved by the Council of the Alberta College of Pharmacists * Accurately perform laboratory techniques as prescribed by the pharmacist. * Accurately prepare and send out prescriptions according to Federal regulations. * Utilize medication dispensing machines in accordance with regulations. * Use appropriate safety procedures when performing compounding and mixing duties. * Maintain accurate records of inventory and operations. * Communicate with pharmacists to determine appropriate medications needed and timely fill orders. * Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers. * Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy * Delivery of medications to patient's home This job offers competitive wage and health benefits.
