*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and a commitment to patient care in a hospital setting. *Duties* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. * Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory. * Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare professionals. * Support medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. * Organize and manage pharmacy supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed. * Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow within the pharmacy. * Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy environment. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. * Knowledge of medication administration processes and medical terminology is essential. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. * Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not required.
