*Job Overview* Exciting opportunity to join our large dental team in Kanata. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service. This role requires previous dental experience. Knowledge of Tracker an asset. *Responsibilities* * Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. * Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently. * Handle incoming calls using phone systems, addressing dental inquiries, and providing information about services. * Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. * Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries. * Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office. * Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. * Stay updated on office policies, procedures, and medical terminology relevant to dental practices. *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is preferred. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. * Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently. * Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems commonly used in a dental setting.
