School District No. 22 has a position available for a dependable, caring individual as Noon Hour Student Supervisor starting as soon as possible. This position is one hour each day (five hours per week) for the school year. This position is 1 hour per day for 10-months, temporary to June 26, 2025 or return of incumbent. <p><p>Under the supervision of the school principal, you will monitor, supervise and direct students during school lunch times. You will deal with minor first-aid cases as required, report incidents and complete required incident reports, infraction or safety concerns as and when required.<p>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<p><p><p> Grade 10<p> Six (6) months previous experience in dealing with children, such as volunteering or parenting<p><p>Services will not be required on In-Service and Non-Instructional Days. <p>WAGE: 25.45<p>SHIFT: 11:15 am - 12:15 pm<p>This is a union position, CUPE Local 5523 and the hourly rate of pay is $25.45 plus a percentage in lieu of vacation and statutory holiday pay.<p>While all applicants will be considered, preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.<p> Posting # 257- LocationVernon, BC
