At Windsor Elms Village there are three distinct neighbourhoods. Eachneighbourhood has four houses of nine residents. With such a diverse group of residents, you will find each house has its owncharacter. At WEV, we strive to create flexibility that mirrors life in the communities and homes our residents have known.Registered Nurses (RN): We are seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to work in our home located in Falmouth, NS (just 40minutes from Halifax).As an RN you will supervise and administer medications and treatments and assess the initial and ongoing health status andquality of life of residents. As an RN within our team, you will be creating a positive and pleasant environment in the Resident'shome by working collaboratively and respectfully with all care partners including residents, co-workers, families, physicians,community and professional agencies. In everything you do, you will strive to enhance and strengthen the groups and individualswho live and work at the Windsor Elms Village. Other key responsibilities include communicating pertinent information to teammembers; maintaining complete and accurate clinical records and ensuring resident care plans are current.As an important member of our team -- working with all care partners - you do what it takes to enrich relationships andwell-being for residents.Qualifications:? Registered and in good standing with NS College of Nursing.? Preferred experience with geriatrics.? Preferred Alzheimer's Course.? Current First Aid & CPR certification.? Good communication skills.?
