Seeking a motivated individual to join the Galaxy Motors team as a Detailer at our Langford location! We are the #1 used car dealership on Vancouver Island with 5 Automotive and 2 RV locations. While specific duties may vary a bit, the general role of the Detailer is to help the Service Advisor/Manager ensure that all vehicles on the lot are well maintained, in excellent working condition and clean for effective merchandising. Responsibilities and Duties: - Have a meticulous eye for perfection, commitment to quality work and enjoy cleaning, detailing vehicles. - Cut polishing and waxing - Staining, spot removal, and odor control - Clean upholstery, rugs and other surfaces - Tracking time and work completed in computer systems. - Keeping up with high volume shop. - Be positive and polite with all service and sales staff. - Ability to safely use chemicals needed for Automotive detailing. \*Undercoating and minor painting a future possibility. Valid DL & Clean Driver's Abstract required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationVictoria, BC
