We are currently recruiting for the position of *Apprentice/Journeyperson Plumber*. This position will assist the Delco Water department, and all work will take place within Delco's shop. *Delco Perks & Benefits* * *Retirement Support:* We provide every full-time employee with RRSP matching for their long-term plans. * *Health & Wellness:* Staying healthy is important; we provide health, dental, life, and disability insurance, along with our employee assistance program. * *Development Opportunities:* We value our employee career development by offering professional support, training reimbursement programs, Lunch n' Learns, etc. * *Social: *We enjoy getting together at various company events. * *Culture: *Come join our innovative, collaborative, and energetic environment. * *Flexibility: *We try to accommodate real-life as much as possible and know that work is just a part of our daily lives. * *Facilities:* our head office in Saskatoon has on-site parking, an on-site gym, easy access to the Meewasin walking trail, and an employee lounge equipped with a golf simulator, TVs, gaming systems, and refreshments. *Responsibilities* * Install supports for piping and equipment. * Fabrication and installation of schedule 80 PVC and stainless-steel spools. * Mounting of pumps, motors, and vessels. * Interpret and follow drawings (general arrangements, piping isometrics and P&IDs). * Operate band saw and various power tools/ hand tools to fabricate/ assemble parts. * Assist in pressure testing of equipment. * Assist service department with various internal and external tasks as required including fixing or servicing pilot units and other equipment, and fabrication of chemical panels for projects or maintenance/service customers. * Assist with loading of completed skids during preparations for shipping. * Assist with unloading of frames in DW?s shop. * Assist the Shipping & Receiving department. * Maintain a clean, safe work area. * Participate in toolbox/ safety meetings. * Participate in hazard assessment meetings during skid moves or other unusual operations. *Required* * Plumbing apprentice or Journeyperson Plumber ticket. * General plumbing knowledge * A willingness to learn about Delco's plumbing systems and components. * Time management skills. * Understanding of current field regulations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *About Us* Delco Water (a division of Delco Automation Inc.) manufacturers water treatment systems and components for clients in Western Canada and other parts of North America, providing water solutions and servicing for cities, towns, and industrial sector customers.
