*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team in the touchup / service area of the trade. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of various painting techniques. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality results in residential settings. The Painter will work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. . * Apply paint, lacquers, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Ensure proper application techniques to achieve smooth and even finishes. * Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. * Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. * To do touchups on new homes after all trades are done and before the homeowner takes possession. This includes "clearing tags" that the customer has flagged as areas that need fine-tuning after the customer walkthrough is done. * To be efficient in doing service in a customer's home in the event some issues need attention after they have occupied their home. This means being able to communicate with the homeowner and maintain a professional attitude to address any issues that may occur on these service calls. * Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Painter or similar role is preferred. * Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. * Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. * Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines. * A valid driver's license and a vehicle will be required for travel between job sites.
