*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in a restaurant setting. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. * Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. * Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. * Help with inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages. * Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maximizing quality. *Skills* * Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment. * Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with attention to detail and presentation. * Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team. * Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation. * A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the food industry.
