Be part of it by applying for a position with us today.The Team:The Medical Authorization Centre (MAC) Pharmacy is responsible for making decisions concerning health needs for products that require authorization. In this role you will service various contracts and work as a member of an overall medical professional team.The primary goal of this unit is to provide positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technology.Work location can be remote from home, and the hours of operation for this team range from Monday to Friday 6:45am to 8:30pm Atlantic Time.We work a 7.5 hours workday, a 37.5 hour work week: No overnight, No weekends.Key Responsibilities:Make decisions concerning clients' health needs for products that require authorizationAdminister process for special authorization decisions through the interactive use of telecommunications and ? applied on-line POS technologyUtilize your medical background, knowledge and experience to render decisionsLiaison with the customers and other health care professionals to ensure treatment requests are appropriately administeredProvide a positive and efficient customer service experience for providers and clientsSupport positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technologyIn this position you will work various shifts between 6:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday to FridayYou have the ability to work remotely, hybrid or in the office - let us know what works for you!Qualifications: Education: Active Registered Nurse Work Experience : Have practical nursing experience, including knowledge of medical conditions in relationship to pharmaceutical treatmentExcellent negotiation and decision-making skillsMulti-tasker and thrive in a fast-paced environmentSuperior verbal communication skillsAbility to work shift work on a rotating basis Computer Skills: possess strong computer skills or aptitude Language Skills: Bilingualism (English and French) is requiredWe offer a best-in-class comprehensive total rewards package.
