*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive work environment for the culinary team.
*Duties*
* Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, promoting professional development.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen personnel as needed.
* Monitor food presentation and quality to uphold restaurant standards.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar position within the food service industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Proficiency in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Experience in menu planning and inventory management is preferred.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests.
* A background in hospitality or bartending is a plus but not required.

Pay: $48,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
