Education: Bachelor's degree. Mechanical engineering. Hydraulics and fluid power technology/technician. Work setting: Manufacturing or processing industry. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Oil and gas industry. Tasks: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems. Design power plants, machines and equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD). Computer-aided design (CAD). MS Office. Equipment and machinery experience: Pumps. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Research and development. Project management. Reliability engineering. Design. Area of specialization: Hydraulics and fluids.
