AOLCC career training specializes in many areas including technical, administrative, medical and business. Our programs focus on the practical knowledge needed to succeed in the industry. With our condensed programs, our graduates earn either a certificate or a diploma in under 12 months. We are excited that we will be offering the Personal Support Worker Program in October and we are currently recruiting for an Instructor. *About You:* * You are *punctual*, *dependable*, and *trustworthy* with a *professional mannerism* and a cheerful and respectful attitude when working with others. * You are *organized* and able to prioritize tasks to arrange for completion in order of importance. * You have excellent *communication and interpersonal skills* and enjoy working as part of a team. * You *respect *equity and diversity and value participating in and creating safe and *inclusive environments* at work and in the community. *As a PSW Instructor You Will:* * Understand and Instruct the Personal Support Worker Program. * Follow the progress of the students. * Advise students on program details. * Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom. * Provide learners with one-on-one support as needed. * Help with placements for the students by reaching out to local institutions. *Education and Experience* * Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario * Minimum of 2 years of current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in a long-term care/community/chronic care setting. *Equal Opportunity Employer* Diversity and inclusion have always been at the core of our values.
