Ideal Guest Services Agents are passionate about customer service. They look to make our guests comfortable while away from home, whether they are traveling on business or for leisure. Our associates have a keen intuition that allows them to anticipate needs and exceed expectations. This position will be responsible for checking guests in and out at the front desk, and maintaining the smooth flow of front desk services according to the standards of the Holiday Inn Airport West.
*General Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner according to IHG standards and use guest?s last name at every opportunity.
* Operates the front desk equipment such as the reservation system and key card system.
* Perform accurate daily tasks that pertain to an agent role, create memorable guests experiences.
* Make accurate reservations over the phone and in person.
* Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments.
* Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals (mobile check-in).
* Handle guests' concerns with a can-do professional attitude and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
* Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with hotel credit policy.
* Uniform and appearance are kept clean and presentable.
* Responsible for a Cash Float throughout your shift and ensuring it balances correctly at the end of shift.
* Use of proper communication methods in a professional manner (Emails/Phone).
* Knowledge of local area and the ability to make suggestions to guest based on their requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.80-$16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Every Weekend
* Holidays
* Morning shift
* Weekends as needed
