Education: College/CEGEP. Geophysics and seismology. Electrical/electronics maintenance and repair technology, other. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Workshop. Tasks: Maintain equipment. Service equipment. Test power equipment and systems . Assist in design, development and testing. Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage. Light cleaning duties. Equipment and machinery experience: Soldering equipment. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Initiative. Organized. Team player.
