*Job Summary*
Working as a part of the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering team, you will be responsible for projects from front end budgeting/estimating, configuration and testing through to site acceptance, commissioning and turn-over. As a technical expert in your field, you will be expected to be front facing to the clients and to provide and maintain a collaborative relationship with them.
*Duties*
* You must be professional, personable, and committed to producing high quality work.
* Develop business with existing and new clients.
* Develop proposals and cost estimates for project bids.
* Provide technical support to the Business Development group.
* Work closely with Vendors and Distributors to understand the market.
* Perform work from study through detailed design phase.
* Work with junior staff to mentor and train them.
* Perform site visits at operating facilities to scope and execute projects.
* Provide technical support to our teams of multidiscipline engineers and constructors.
*Skills*
* 6-10 years working in a similar industry.
* Experience with integration of Siemens S7 PLCs and PCS7 DCS systems.
* Experience with multiple HMI platforms.
* Experience with electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Experience with wired and wireless networking.
* Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.
* Registered as a P.Eng. with APEGA.
* Ability to create and review technical documentation including project execution plans, specifications, and design documents.
* Comfortable working in operating industrial facility environments.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
* Excellent time management and project management skills.
* Has an interest in multi-disciplinary work, and understands the needs and requirements of other engineering disciplines.
