The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESCUSTOMEREnsure an integrated and aggregated view of all related activities across the overall function providing escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadershipForecast programs / initiatives and demand, and coordinate prioritization of the portfolio / initiatives with key stakeholdersOversee / lead / manage and plan a work activity that may require alignment across multiple areasLead the team in the development and/or integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / projects /changes across multiple functional areasLead respective team for area of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior managementAct as a strategic partner by leading relationships with key enterprise partners and interfacing with respective leadership team to effectively manage own data governance / management area and clarify scope of accountabilities while influencing and aligning others as neededDevelop, communicate and implement a holistic strategy for own specific data governance function in support of and integrated with the overall business strategyEstablish the LOB framework and guidance for identification of critical data and critical data elementsLead the governance and oversight of LOB data management activities, including metadata, data quality, data retention and disposition tasksEstablish a consistent approach to data issue management across the LOB, providing oversight to ensure data issues are prioritized appropriately and resolve in a timely manner.Conducts day to day data governance and / or data management activities for their respective business or functionContribute to the strategic direction of the data governance / management function and play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall data strategyLead / support the business' Segment Data CouncilProvide direction and/or input to complex, wide ranging enterprise or cross-function / business projects / initiatives as a data governance expert, supporting the inclusion of data driven considerations in all projects impacting the business or functional groupPlan, lead / manage and/or oversee a diverse set of work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas, including projects policies / processes / procedures / changes in across multiple functional areasLead partner to management / leadership and respective teams for area of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior managementWork effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing and aligning others as neededProvide functional / business level communications to ensure messages to stakeholders and / or employees are consistent, appropriate and aligned to business risk strategies and executive management directionFac- LocationToronto, ON
