Philosophy Fitness is searching for a General Manager to work directly with the business owner to execute their mission. With over 70 staff in the building, we are searching for an experienced fitness person with proven management experience in fitness, retail, or other related fields. The GM position will oversee 3 key areas: *1) Front Desk staff/Cleaning Staff*: this part of the position will include scheduling, hiring, mentorship, coaching, and direct daily contact with FD and cleaning staff to continuously improve customer service. The GM will alos be responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff to ensure we are meeting the desired cleanliness goals. *2) Personal Training: *working alongside the existing Director of Personal Training, the GM will assist the DPT with sales, coaching meetings, client matching, and ensuring the PT department is striving to meet and exceed sales targets *3) Group Classes: *the GM will work alongside an already existing Group Class Coordinator to continuously monitor the class schedule, add or cancel classes as needed, monitor coaches and instructors, and more. The GM will report directly to the Owner of the business on a daily basis, and will receive as much mentorship and coaching into the nusances of this unique business. The GM must have experience in sales management, customer service, and directly managing staff.
