We offer a wide range of boats?from luxury yachts to smaller recreational vessels?and only carry the most trusted outboard motor brands. Whether our customers are seasoned boaters or new to the water, we strive to ensure they have the best experience possible, from their first visit to long after their purchase. Job Responsibilities: * *Sales and Customer Service:* Engage with customers to understand their boating needs and guide them in selecting the ideal boats, outboard motors, and accessories. * *Product Knowledge:* Stay up-to-date on the latest boat models, outboard motors, and marine products to provide expert advice and recommendations. * *Client Relations:* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, offering follow-up services and ensuring satisfaction after the sale. * *Sales Process:* Manage the entire sales cycle?from initial inquiry to closing the deal, including financing options, trade-ins, and after-sales support. * *Inventory Management:* Assist with inventory organization, display maintenance, and ensure products are well-presented and readily available. * *Marketing Support:* Participate in local events, promotions, and marketing campaigns to drive sales and increase customer awareness of our offerings. * *Service Coordination:* Work with our service department to schedule delivery, maintenance, and repair services for customers? boats and motors. * *Sales Promotions:* Actively participate in all aspects of sales promotions, including special offers, seasonal sales events, and other promotional activities. * *Collaboration with Staff:* Support Service and Retail staff to meet customer goals, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for our customers. * *Paperwork and Follow-Through:* Ensure superior performance and accuracy with all sales-related paperwork, and maintain reliable follow-up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues. *Experience* * *Highly Motivated and Goal-Oriented:* A strong drive to succeed and achieve sales targets. * *Excellent Customer Service:* Exceptional skills in delivering a positive customer experience, addressing customer needs, and ensuring satisfaction. * *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent experience. * *Communication Skills:* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and customers. * *Technical Skills:* Ability to operate computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Point of Sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of LightSpeed an asset * *Availability:* Ability to work full-time, including weekends ( Tuesday - Saturday), to meet the needs of the dealership and customers. * *Passion for Boating:* A passion for boating is an asset and will help you connect with customers and better understand their needs. * *Driver?s License:* A valid driver?s license is required. * *Sea Trials & Trailer Towing:* Knowledge of conducting sea trials and the ability to tow a trailer are considered asset. *Benefits* * Competitive salary with an attractive commission structure. * Health insurance (medical, dental, vision). * Paid time off (PTO) and holidays. * Employee discounts on products and services. * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. * A- LocationSaanichton, BC
