Education: College/CEGEP. Massage therapy/therapeutic massage. Work setting: Private training organization or college. Tasks: Supervise students in work session. Train students in practical shop work session. Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses. Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress. Advise students on program curricula and career decisions. May serve on faculty committees concerned with matters such as budgets, curriculum revision, staffing and course and diploma requirements.. Operate audio-visual equipment. Conduct course and program evaluation or review. Deliver lectures and presentations. Provide assistance to students with special needs. Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies. Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops. Ensure compliance with government regulations. Supervision: 16-20 people. More than 20 people. Target audience: Adults. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. MS Office.
