Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Staff accommodation available. Cleaning service company. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Make beds and change sheets. Distribute clean towels and toiletries. Stock linen closet. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Clean and disinfect elevators. Handle and report lost and found items. Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Clean changing rooms and showers. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Walking. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Personal suitability: Punctuality. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility.
