Job Responsibilities: * Provide groundwork support for trimming operations. * Operate chainsaws and chippers while efficiently loading brush materials. Previous chainsaw training/certificate would be an asset. * Support Crew Leaders with site setup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance. * Maintain job sites through raking and leaf blowing. * Safely rig down tree limbs. * Abide by Wright Tree Service and industry safety policies and procedures. Skills and Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid Class G License. * Capable of performing strenuous work, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching & kneeling * Able to lift and carry at least 50lbs * Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills * Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress. * WHMIS * Working at Heights Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Ottawa, ON K1V 9V9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationOttawa, ON
