Job details
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembly of mechanical parts. Interprets manufacturing documents to assemble or modify components and must be able to read the assembly drawings.
* Accurately interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications for each assembly
* Assemble, bolt, screw, clip, solder, or otherwise fasten parts, machined parts, and components together using hand or power tools, or other equipment
* Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies
* Test and verify completed work
* Operate necessary hand and power tools as required.
* Work on other electrical projects as required.
* Meet physical job requirements such as continuous standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
*Qualifications:*
* We are willing to train the right candidate.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
* Familiarity with industry standard electrical/mechanical/electric assembly practices
* Exceptional communication (written & verbal in the English language) and interpersonal skills
* WHIMS certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
