Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>We are looking for a Maintenance Buyer/Planner for our client in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. <br> <br>Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks : <br> <br>- Research parts on the Internet and with our various suppliers; <br>- Maintain long-term relationships with our suppliers; <br>- Make price requests in order to establish comparisons; <br>- Place orders based on work orders and parts lists recommended by our equipment suppliers; <br>- Enter transactions (purchase orders) into the ERP system; <br>- Participate in departmental planning meetings; <br>- Negotiate agreements for recurring contracts and ensure their smooth operation; <br>- Support the maintenance team in inventory and warehouse management;</p><p>Skills required: <br> <br>- Degree relevant to the position <br>- Experience in purchasing / warehouse and maintenance management (strong asset); <br>- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) (asset); <br>- Mastery of the Office suite and facility with internet searches; <br>- ERP experience (asset); <br>- Excellent communication skills; <br>- Sense of initiative and proactivity; <br>- Creativity and interest in continuous improvement.</p>- LocationSaint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC
