Balance Clinic is a busy multi-disciplinary psychology practice specializing in individual and group therapy, workshops, multi-disciplinary FASD assessments, psycho-educational and psychological/neuro-developmental assessments across the lifespan.

*Job Overview*
We are looking to add a Licensed Psychologist or Resident in Psychology *to provide psychological assessment services for adults*. The clinician would be part of a diverse team offering high-quality, best practice services. The team engages in regular sharing of resources and specialized support to allow clinicians to grow and provide their clients with direct access to specialists in other disciplines when needed.
There is also the opportunity to have a small specialized psychological therapy practice as well, if the applicant would like to practice in that field.
Balance Clinic offers their clinicians the use of best practice assessment tools and resources.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support patient care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
*Qualifications*
* Licensed Psychologist in New Brunswick, or Resident in Psychology
* Ability to always maintain confidentiality, sensory awareness, and cultural sensitivity
* Experience and/or training in assessing complex trauma and neuro-developmental disorders is an asset.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
