Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Rural area. Various locations. Commercial facility. Industrial facility or establishment. Office building. Shopping centre or mall. Tasks: Direct and control construction projects. Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Word. Electronic mail. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence.
