*Overview* We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service team in the repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role is perfect for someone who has had a career as an HVAC service technician or air conditioning mechanic. *Responsibilities* * Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and apprentices. * Oversee service of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. * Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards. * Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in HVAC maintenance and repair. * Troubleshoot complex HVAC problems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. * Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. * Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and quality service. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as an HVAC technician or supervisor with a strong background in plumbing, welding, appliance repair, and mechanical systems. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to HVAC systems. * Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality workmanship. * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. * Valid driver's license is preferred for travel between job sites. * Relevant certifications in HVAC technology or a related field are a plus. * Commitment to safety protocols and practices within the workplace.
