*Job Overview* our client, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, including accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial auditing. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in corporate finance and financial services while gaining hands-on experience in accounting *Duties* * Assist in managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. * Prepares journal entries for both day-to-day and month-end transactions. * Performs bank and account reconciliations. * Validates and processes monthly expense reports. * Prepares monthly GST/PST reports. * Support the preparation of financial statements and reports. * Participate in financial auditing processes to ensure compliance with regulations. * Utilize accounting software for data entry and reporting tasks. * Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. * Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation. *Experience* * A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. * Familiarity with accounting software is highly desirable. * Previous experience in a clerk or accounting role is a plus but not required. * Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices is beneficial. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. * Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
