*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. * Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the Dentrix system. * Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. * Support front office staff with administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience. *Experience* * Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred, with knowledge of pediatrics and orthodontics being a plus. * Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable. * Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. * Experience in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for dental applications is an advantage but not required. * Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
