We are accepting applications for all grades and locations.<p> ..........................................................................................<p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> It?s great to work at Grasslands! <p> <p> <p> <p> We reimburse substitute staff for mileage when the dispatch qualifies based on our Travel Cost Reimbursement guidelines (A.P. 755 Travel Cost Reimbursement)<p> <p> <p> Grasslands Public Schools, in partnership with the City of Brooks Recreation Services, offer discounts on JBS Canada Centre memberships and passes, for Grasslands employees!<p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> .... <p> <p> Job Duties: <p> <p> support students in instruction as well as social and behavioral needs;<p> <p> <p> work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to support the delivery of quality programming to early learners;<p> work closely and collaboratively with school staff including, but not limited to, classroom teachers and administration;<p> encourage positive interactions between students and staff;<p> position may include activities such as lifting, transferring, and providing personal care, as necessary; and<p> position may have involvement in student school activities such as swimming or outdoor sports and may require the EA to participate with students.<p> <p> Ideal Candidates Skills & Abilities: <p> <p> Strong communication skills; written, verbal and reading.<p> Ability to assist with all subject areas.<p> Excellent problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills.<p> Organized and able to follow plans and meet deadlines.<p> Understanding and appreciation of Grasslands Public Schools mission and values<p> Able to contribute to a classroom environment that supports diversity and inclusion<p> Respect and value all individuals with sensitivity to diversity<p> Personal integrity and trustworthiness<p> Understanding of how the role of Educational Assistant impacts the community<p> Able to establish trust and rapport with students<p> <p> Education and Certifications: <p> <p> High School Diploma<p> postsecondary training is an asset but not a requirement<p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> Successful applicants will be required to submit before start date: <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> <p> Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulner- LocationBrooks, AB
