The ideal candidate will be equally creative as they are strategic. They must have superior organizational skills, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.Your Role:Your work will support the company?s objectives to build business relationships, generate excitement around our organization, grow sales, and amplify brand awareness. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the PR and Event Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing event themes, preparing and managing event timelines, coordinating technical aspects, generating media interest and coverage, preparing expenditure reports, and managing risk. Your creativity and resourcefulness in developing and executing PR strategies and events that meet business objectives will aid us in promoting products, engaging with clients, inspiring confidence in our brand, and communicating brand strategy to internal and external stakeholders.Your Key Responsibilities:Events: - Ensuring the success of events:Overseeing logisticsVetting suppliersCoordinating vendorsManaging deadlines and duties of collaborating staff for the eventCollaborating with the sales, marketing, and art departments to ensure the event aligns with the company?s vision and goals - Planning and executing events of various sizes and types, including but not limited to: Major trade shows in North America and Europe Media and consumer facing events Events for social media giveaway winners Public Relations: - Enhancing brand awareness through various media channels: Formulating PR plans and strategiesManaging media relationsEnhancing the company?s voice through various channelsWriting press releases and other PR copy Preparing engaging PR visual presentations Analyzing public opinionSubmitting to awards from publications and toy associations Maintaining a database of awards and media outletsWhat we're looking for:- Minimum 2 years of experience working in event planning, production or coordination- An excellent level in English is necessary to communicate with external partners- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong interpersonal skills- Good problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong organizational and time-management skills- Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances- This position requires travel to the US and Europe.
