We are expanding and are currently looking to fill the role of *Executive Assistant to the General Manager at West Coast Kids. *

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support the General Manager at West Coast Kids. The Personal Assistant will manage daily tasks, emails, and administrative needs, allowing the GM to focus on strategic decision-making and operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and able to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities
* Administrative Support: Manage daily calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the General Manager, ensuring efficient time management.
* Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing communication on behalf of the GM, which may include phone calls, emails, and written correspondence. Serve as a liaison between the GM and internal departments or external partners.
* Travel & Event Coordination: Arrange travel, accommodations, and event logistics for the GM and other key staff, as required.
* Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and organize reports, presentations, and documents for meetings, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
* Project Management: Assist in special projects, including research, vendor coordination, and team collaboration, and track progress to meet deadlines.
* Task Prioritization: Proactively identify urgent or high-priority tasks, helping the GM stay focused on key responsibilities and initiatives.
* Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or personal assistant role, preferably within the retail or customer service industry.
* Education: Post-secondary education in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
* Skills:
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
* Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle various responsibilities as needed.
