In return, we?ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about.</span></span></p><div><div><div><div><b>Job Summary</b></div> </div><div><p><b>Laboratory Assistant - Sample Processing - Student </b></p><p><br>As a <b>Laboratory Assistan</b>t for our <b>Sample Management</b> department at the <b>Senneville</b> location, you will be responsible for handling frozen study samples, while ensuring that all samples received are accounted for, and well stored. This role, allows the laboratory to have all samples required for analysis in a timely and organized manner. </p><p> </p><p><b>In this role, primary responsibilities include:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li>Perform reception, verification and storage of samples;</li><li>Prepares samples for analysis in the laboratories;</li><li>Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) rules;</li><li>Perform all other related duties as assigned.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div><b>Key Elements</b></div> </div><div><p> </p><p><b>We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li>High school diploma;</li><li>Evidence of flexibility and ability to work independently;</li><li>Basic working knowledge of computers;</li><li>Ability to quickly adapt to changes;</li><li>1-2 years of relevant experience is an asset.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Role Specific Information:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li><b>Location</b>: 22022 Trans-Canada Highway, Senneville (QC) H9X 1C1</li><li><b>Pay</b>: $16,75 per hour</li><li><b>Schedule</b>: Saturday (8 AM - 4 PM) with option do work more days if desired</li><li><b>Transportation</b>: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site.
