Thompson Fireplaces and Living Spaces is a brand-new showroom opening in Elmvale, Ontario, specializing in high-quality fireplaces and home improvement solutions. We are looking for a dedicated Office Administrator to join our growing team and help us make a warm, welcoming impression on our clients!
*Job Description:*
The Office Administrator will be the go-to person for all office-related tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role involves supporting our sales and showroom teams, managing customer inquiries, handling administrative duties, and contributing to a positive customer experience.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Greet and assist showroom visitors, providing them with information and support
- Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and showroom visits for clients
- Maintain inventory records and update product catalogs as needed
- Support sales with processing transactions, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping
- Assist with marketing tasks and coordinating promotional events
- Order office supplies and keep the showroom organized
- Other administrative tasks as needed to support showroom operations
*Qualifications:*
- Proven experience as an office administrator, receptionist, or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or experience with invoicing is a plus
- Experience in retail or home improvement industry is an asset but not required
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset but not required
