Currently we are looking for an Electrical and Controls Engineer to contribute in the execution of our projects.

What You?ll Do:
* Reporting to the head of Engineering, the Electrical and Controls Engineer is responsible for completing the electrical design drawings, controls engineering and PLC programming for combustion processes and associated equipment.
* Your creativity and experience in PLC programming will play a part in the detail development of the next generation of combustion controls and the standardization of the programming processes at Firebridge
* Your accountability will ensure the electrical CAD design will allow for ease of manufacture without encountering interferences.
* Your ability to produce amazing HMI interfaces and robust, simple controls will make Firebridge engineering stand out to our clients
* Your desire to learn will propel you to higher levels of responsibility as you engage in continuous learning and skills development
* Your hands-on capabilities may be counted upon to support Firebridge efforts at our client?s facilities during testing, erection, commissioning and start-up
* Your ability to create level II control models is an asset
What You Offer:
* You have 5+ years of relevant experience as an Electrical and ControlsEngineer and you possess an Electrical Engineering degree.
* You are familiar with heavy industrial process that include a combustion system such as boilers, furnaces, kilns, etc.
* Strong interpersonal skills needed to work in a team environment
* Strong ability to multi-task and problem solve
* Technical assets:
* AutoCAD Electrical or Solidworks Electrical
* Microsoft Office
* Excel VBA an asset
* PLC programming for Siemens and Allen Bradley safety systems
Other Requirements
* Support corporate requirements as requested.
* Willing to travel occasionally to job sites and other third-party offices.
* Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to travel to and work in the USA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $1.00 per year
