Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system. Supervision: 11-15 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Apiary management. Detect bee diseases . Honey farm. Manage a set of measures designed to protect a beekeeper's honey bees from the entry and spread of pests. Oversee the honey extraction. Treat bees with antibiotics . Automated honey extractor. Harvesting honey. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Drive manual transmission vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
