Job details
*Responsibilities: * * Ability to detect, troubleshoot, and repair irregularities and malfunctions in production equipment, * Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment in accordance with standardized procedures and manuals * Ability to recognize operational inconsistencies and hazards in the workplace and display proper judgment in responding accordingly * Knowledge of PLC's and automated process equipment * Equipment refurbishment (pumps & screw conveyors, blowers) * Set and align rotating equipment * Cutting and rigging techniques * Welding-gas and electric * Electrical-motor connections, perform zero energy check with a multi meter * Pipefitting (Steel & CPVC) * Maintain maintenance shop and all hand and power tools *Education:* * 5-10 years of experience in an industrial maintenance settings * Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) * Knowledge of CMMS systems, excel, Microsoft Windows/Office, * 433A Certification required Shift: Monday to Friday 7 am - 3 pm Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Paid time off * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationHamilton, ON
