Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Hot. Tasks: Compute dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances of workpieces . Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Lay out, shape and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic and other materials from blueprints, models or templates. Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment. Monitor and inspect quality of material produced. Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line change. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Mould Maker Trade Certification. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
