Salary Range:<p>$86,426 - $104,862 per annum<p>Closing Date:<p>November 11, 2024, 4pm<p>Full Time Equivalent:<p>1.0 FTE <p>Assignment: <p>Effective date to be determined.<p>7 hours a day, 5 days a week.<p>Site and Location <p>Board Office, Napanee, ON<p>*Incumbent is required to travel to various board locations, mileage is compensated. <p>About the ALCDSB <p>The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board serves approximately 12,000 students, employs over 1,400 full-time equivalent staff, and covers a geographical area of more than 16,000 square kilometers (Whitney in the North, Picton in the South, Trenton in the West, and Kingston in the East).<p>The ALCDSB builds faith-filled learning communities where each member is loved, inspired, and successful.Position Summary: The Mental Health Supervisor collaborates and coordinates the programs and services provided by the child and youth worker and team focused on mental health and well-being. This role provides ongoing supervision, organizes professional development, and builds capacity as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary student services team to address complex needs of students. In this role, the Mental Health Supervisor collaborates with the Mental Health Lead to create and implement the ALCDSB mental health strategy and action plan as required. <p>What you bring to the team: Completion of graduate post-secondary education in social work or psychology<p> Registered and in good standing with either the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario <p> Minimum of five years of clinical experience working with children and youth as well as supervisory experience <p> Knowledge of School Mental Health Ontario and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programming<p> Ontario Class G drivers licence The Board is seeking candidates who demonstrate the following core competencies:Communication <p>Shares and receives information and ideas in a variety of ways and adapts to the needs of the audience to ensure the message is understood.<p>Innovation <p>Creates, develops and implements new processes or services with the aim of improving the learning community for all.<p>Interpersonal Relations <p>Displays characteristics and personal attributes that enhance communication and interactions.
