*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This position involves developing and implementing engaging educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The Early Childhood Educator will work closely with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive learning atmosphere. *Responsibilities* * Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children. * Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. * Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and exploration. * Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience. * Maintain accurate records of children's development and behavior. * Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom. *Skills* * Strong understanding of early childhood development principles. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. * Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. * Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. * Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently. * Creativity in developing activities that stimulate children's learning experiences. * Knowledge of child assessment tools is a plus. You must have completed your Early Childhood Education Diploma and have a good standing with the College of ECE.
